Minimalista is a minimalist WordPress Theme for photographer build like a Web App with AngularJS for fast page loading. It showcase your photographs on a fullscreen page in a clean and stunning manner with a single web page look and feel.
We hand coded the theme to make the loading and switching between the photographs a lot faster. In a conventional WordPress blog while browsing each pages are not loaded from the server, where as in our theme, only the meta data and the image files are download from the server. The rest of the data is loaded with a custom REST API we’ve build. (We’ll soon make it compatible with the official WordPress REST API plugin)
Looking for a fast theme?
We’ve concatenated and minified all JS file for a total of 216kb, the same for the CSS with a total of 51kb. No useless framework to suck users bandwidth.
